Wasn't certain if this was the right place for this one, but here's a link to some in hand images:

The thing I found intriguing was on the back of the card is directions to scan the faction symbol in order to unlock a game character. Comparing the faction symbols on the different toys, the circles surrounding the symbol have different ratios of dark and light, like bar codes.

Is there a game advertised yet? And what's to stop kids going to shops and just scanning the symbols in their pack?

There is a Transformers: Robots in Disguise app. It's been on iTunes since last week and I found it for android this morning.

You probably won't even need to go to shops to scan the extra characters in. I'm sure you can do it off online photos. Someone might even compile a barcode gallery. Codes aren't super necessary, the in game store can unlock them for you by cashing in energon cubes earned in game.
But extra characters aren't the only reason for the codes. There are supposed to be new codes appearing on Transformers.com regularly.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

    Thanks for the info

I probably won't play the game myself, but the idea of the bar-coded faction symbol really grabbed me. I wonder whether it is the first time this has been done with mainstream release transformers and whether it will become a standard thing for future lines.
