[Ode to a Grasshopper]

New pics have them looking pretty good, especially the individual modes. Long Haul's stumpy robot mode is pretty funny, Scrapper seems to lack an elbow joint, and it's a shame that Scavenger doesn't seem to have an alt-mode rotating joint, but all in all it's a really impressive feat from Hasbro.
I'd be getting a set, but they're just too big for me.

Bonecrusher: Actually doesn't look badly engineered - ankle tilts are a bonus. Can't stand the green treats but that's purely an aesthetic concession made for Devastator mode I'd imagine.

Hook: Those elbows don't look like they'll be much fun long term.

Long Haul: My life is pain.

Mixmaster: Actually looks really good in both modes. Loses no points as far as I'm concerned for having non G1 alt mode and robot mode head.

Scavenger: Assuming those shoulders can move backwards and forwards I'm impressed.

Scrapper: No elbows is unforgivable in 2015, which is a shame because the rest of it looks nice enough.

Those arms need to be an ankle for a very big robot. That's forgivable.

Is anyone planning to remake this scene (remaster essentially) done by AlphaTrikma about 6 years ago with the new Devastator? We now have a Megatron, Insecticons, Arcee and Springer from Generations, as well as all the other characters. Individual bots are good, except Long Haul and Mixmasters alt mode. But I'm happy that these are voyagers and combine and have individual robot modes and alt modes.😀

Digging the G1 look of the bot modes, however the articulation on most of the figures looks quite limited, so not sure they'd be much fun to pose.
