I'm in the same boat. Never picked up a Masterpiece before, but this guy looks pretty nice and the Australian release is an interesting enough wrinkle to make him tempting.

Although presumably he'll be close to TRU's MP UM price, so... not really an impulse buy.

I can't believe this rubbish is still going on.
Hasbro asked Gok to do a job, he did it, they liked it and produced it.

Oh you don't like it? Then don't bloody buy it !
On the note, people have opinions, and sometimes is just a "what do you think" it doesn't need to insult Goki in anyway.

I didn't, I think he did a good job, but I can understand from the people who made an argument stand point.

The so-called rubbish that is going on is 100% normal. Gok made some controversial decisions and just like controversial inhouse Hasbro decisions not everyone loved them. There is no tall poppy syndrome or spiteful jealousy in this thread just people voicing themselves with the added bonus/chance of getting questions answered by the creator.

Being that, does this mean that all Australian mps for this piece are actually not MISB since the bio needs to be put into the box?

The Hasbro versions of MP Wheeljack and Bumblebee were all MISB and had their translated bios packed with the toys. I would be surprised if Ultra Magnus and Star Sabre weren't done in the same way.

Just looked at bumble and WJ... The TRU, weren't double taped so instructions were changed/added before sealing initially
