I understand the point regarding keeping costs down. As collectors we always want to get items as cheaply as possible but also in minty condition, well at least I know I do!
Perhaps an option to have items posted in a box for a fee could be provided? I must confess I have not read their shipping policy and just assumed that items would be posted in a box. No doubt boxes will add to their cost base and necessitate a price increase but I would not be against a small price bump to increase protection.
I am not saying I need all boxes to be 100% guaranteed to be undamaged whatsoever, I just want to avoid bubble wrap packages I've received in the past with massive puncture wounds. A few damaged edges doesn't bother me.
It is what it is
No way they would be packed so nice for this price.
+1
I don't get it, you people want cheap then want good boxes. Do yourselves a favour and head down to Australia post with a mp Magnus and ask for the shipping rates across to Eastern or western states.
Come back and tell me you can find a cheaper postage.
I guess I should suggest premium collectables to start charging extra $30 for premium boxes.
I like to stay with their cheap shipping. Thanks
I think that's a bit of hyperbole. We're talking about the cost of a shipping box which would not add very much to the volumetric weight of the package. Each to their own but I would have thought that if there are enough customers concerned about this then they should at least provide an option to customers willing to pay extra for better packing.
I disagree, you are free to purchase from bbts the only crazy site I know who would charge extra for a box.
Other than that, these guys are very reasonable as they are. You can't have both or there be no business at all.
As you said each to their own, and you might find no joy with this dealer because box are your priorities.
As for volume wise I stand very correct as I do package stuff myself. The shipping is a joke. I can get Hong Kong stuffed shipped to me less than I ship the same thing to nsw
The terms and conditions are there. You are free not to go with them.
Actually, if you got down off your high horse for 5 minutes and thought, you can have both. Offer free shipping which as it currently is (which is what I would pick because I don't care about boxes. They just end up in the bin). ANd offer a "premium" shipping option for those that don't want to risk getting a banged up box in the mail.
