On the plus side those TrU Trypticons will probably shelfwarm for a few years, which means no one need worry about where to get one when all the online retailers have long since sold out.
And heck, if one is patient enough maybe one would eventually be able to get one for the same price as the original one was in 1986/87 due to TrU clearance pricing :P

Didn't even know about that site...thanks all!! Sadly the tryptycon was sold out there too...picked up the platinum soundblaster and perceptor though....so not all is lost.

Trypticon pre-order for July (second shipment) is still open. The first pre-order for late June/July is pre-sold out.

I can confirm that, orders for second shipment are still open.
I can see however why one might think that it's completely sold out with it on the page in big red letters saying sold out, but below that it does say "PRE ORDER JULY- OPEN".
Basically with premiumcollectables so long as the green button to add to cart is there you can/should be able to order him
