The hip kibble only stands out cause the rest of it is so good. I can live with that, the middle side window colour (in some photos) bothers me more.
I'm impressed overall though, his body shape seems spot on and the back doesn't have half the van hanging off it either.
These van bots can't really draw much inspiration from the G1 toys (for robot mode), so it ends up looking a little more cartoony/detail-less than some of the other MPs, which have more of a mix of toy/cartoon.
It's hard to tell it's size though - that pic with MP-10 in the background could be making it look deceptively tall. I hope it's not too pricey since an eventual Ratchet will be a must have too!

So, actually this rumour has been out for quite some time but it is SO GOOD to see it finally announced and confirmed.

Love it. Again, it seems like this is the ironhide that would have been released in the '80s if they had the technology. It's not the ultimate perfect ironhide that many fans were looking for however it is the ironhide as I always imagined he should look.
I love him already and he's an instant buy

He looks the biz, I'm impressed how they managed to make the van convert into such a simple looking kibble free robot (from the front). I wonder how much he will cost? Less than that recently announced Third Party Ratchet I hope. I dread the local Toys R Us price though.
And boy does he have a huge crotch, It doesn't bother me so much because Ironhide is such a manly guy, and aside from his chest window and head, that's pretty much his only distinguishing feature in bot mode.
Don't forget Diaclone colour Ironhide, Taktom must get maximum repaints for all these guys.Originally Posted by ampoldj

He's nice, but something's off, something that doesn't seem MP. Might be the proportions.
