Isn't that in the plastic? I haven't had a close look but a cursory glance made me think it was plastic. I'll look in the morning.

Don't think you are wrong here, is plastic.

This was one thing that I was told by someone who bought tracks from me.
    "The toy looks very cheap"

I normally wouldn't open my mp toys till I deliver all to my other friends who ordered but that comment alone made me open up straight away to see why.

    He was not wrong.

I only hope ironhide doesn't follow the same path as road rage, as that will be a let down.

Look at your mp-12 and all your Nissan cars, they are well painted, wheeljack was a bit let down on the white as it's not painted.

If you flip the hood and compare the finish between top and underside you'll see a difference. Also if you look closely you'll see specks of embedded dust. I'm sure a bit of a polish will make it satisfactory shiny.

Tempted to spray gloss lacquer on it. The metallic blue just doesn't pop but rather embedded like plastic.

If not wrong is the same blue as bluestreak.

Anyway I suspect ironhide is going to be flipping here and there since is the same designer from tracks. I hope it doesn't become a common trend to just transform my toys once due to complications.
