You ever think about how Masterpiece Nightstalker came out two years ago and in all that time there's still no whispers of a MP Steeljaw?

I wonder how many people will go into Walmart, see the Titanmaster reissue and think they are a G1 Headmaster reissue???
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

I got my Super Megatron today. Not sure if I would be more appropriate to call him a remould, or a new mould reusing some old parts.

After about 2015 when we started seeing significant remoulding I started using a new status term, with about 50% new parts as the line between "remould" and "new with recycled parts". Because before then they only bothered to engineer the toys to be able to swap out a small amount of parts to make a new toy/character (heads, wings, accessories).

Is it still a remould if a toy uses the same transformation schematic/process, but has new bits? Personally I think this is a clever use of (design) resources.
For example, TR Blurr and Brainstorm.

I think the term the Hasbro designers have been using is "Partial Tool" - figures that might share a core design or design elements but have significant moulding differences in key features.

Think TR Scourge, Highbrow and Windblade, and TR Blurr, Arcee, Chromedome and Brainstorm. And more recently the Siege and ER Ironhide.

That's a decent name for it.

Quibbling, and not really super on topic, but those two are close enough that I'd call them just straight re-tool.

Anyone surprised by the move back to smaller accessories? ER Smokescreen's shoulder guns are considerably smaller than on his Siege iteration.
