I hope they were cancelled orders and not orders that people didn't know still needed to be paid for. EB Games communication has always been shit. I can't tell you how many times over the decades I've heard the line "oh, we were just about to call you" when I enquire about my preorders.

yeah I contacted head office and they investigated and said I had been contacted and there was proof from the store manager. Lying pieces of shit.

It sucks, genuinely went with an online order this time to avoid it as I would have lost my Victory Saber and a dozen other preorders if I did not follow up on them every time. And while I have had stores know me as a regular and hold things longer the official hold policy is something like two days
