Looks a bit plain. Too much white. Definately needs stickers on the shoulders. And, like Ironhide, comes across as being a bit tall and lanky. Still a welcome addition to the MP range though.

It is a valid opinion though, and to me it could be worse with unpainted plastic white like Wheeljack.

But thats how Ratchet is so I think he is an okay figure and if not may be better than Ironhide. I have met several people who didn't want ratchet so I am not surprised about difference in opinions here. They provided me with an happy face and I am happy with that.

Pretty sneaky how they did the stickers , all you need is scissors if you want to add crosses without the autobot logo

Sneaky indeed..I'll definitely be cutting the stickers so that a proper red cross is applied like the cartoon.

So we are feeling a figure is too white when the original characters are well pretty much all white... This is crazy like saying he looks too much like an ambulance or too g1 / toon looking

Charles is back for another toy review! Looks like he's experienced paint chipping on Ratchet during transformation -- did that happen with Ironhide? Or is Takara just crap at white paint application a la Ramjet?
