    Gee Wun all the way!

TBH - very hard decision! Alternators, Classics and Animated are great too!

I voted G1 for the UK comics and some of the toys, but not the cartoon. It's kind of hard for anything else to compare - without the UK comics or the G1 toys then I wouldn't still be a transfan twenty-five years on.

If I could vote for more than one series then Beast Wars and Animated would be way up there too.

I guess I will be the laughing stock of the boards with my choice.

What can I say, I am a big kid and enjoy light hearted fun. Just love the engineering on them and their amazing robot modes. Runners up:

    2. Alternators/Binaltech/Masterpiece

    3. Classics/Universe

After much thinking and creasing of the brow (although not the Highbrow), I joined Stompy. Animated is #1 for me, but right up its reactor linkage is G1.

I went for animated coz its got some interesting characters. Especially loving high-school jock/Bully Sentinel Prime. I also adore the highly stylised figures. The fact that they are so close to the cartoon spins my brain!

However, whenever I get a Geewun fig, I still loves it to bits (but not pieces).

To bad i could only choose one......
as I like both Generation 1 and the Movie (2007), I chose Generation 1 becuase it was the original series and what started my like of Transformers.

I went with the other option. I wouldn't say I really have an overall favourite.
Beast Wars and the IDW G1 stories are my favourite in terms of fiction, where as Classics/Universe 2.0 and the Unicron Trilogy figures are some of my preferred figures.

Okay, it's not Earth, but we may change it to Earth later on!

Glad to see some Animated love!

I wasn't expecting much from that show, but it grabbed me by the throat and sucked me right in.

It was surprisingly good. I think one advantage was they went into a new style. Similar to some of Cartoon Networks other animations, like the Clone Wars. I also like how they have gone back to the Autobots not learning about Earth and how they are also known by the people. Kinda means when there is a battle it can be in the middle of the city or in the middle of nowhere and we don't have a huge paradigm shift
