I voted G1. Love the toys. Canon-wise it's the comics for me and I do like the Japanese animé too (although the manga sucks... ironic no?). Also like the G2 comics and some of the toys. Erm.. yeah, so I voted G1 although it does also include G2 and Beast Wars and Beast Machines.

I've voted G1 based mostly on the Comics.

If we were going just for TV it would have been BW; just toys would have made me vote Alternators.

I was meant to click on Generation 1!

Oh well, my second would probably be the Binaltech/Masterpiece/Alternator line, it proved to me that they could make realistic looking vehicles again!

    It's a tough question actually.

I love cybertron as it is what I rode back into the fandom on. I also like animated (the cartoon only), but I also like classics, because of their homages.

But overall it has to be G1. It started it all, and no matter what way you look at it, it is the series that is borrowed from in every single thing transformers related ever since. It is the single thing that has defined the very essence of transformers, and is the single thing that everything transformers is based off.

You old farts are all living in the past, it was a hard choice between my two favs but I ended up going the scale, hairy insects over G1.

Toys are the most important to me, so I've gone for classics/universe. You can't go wrong with new, better versions of G1 favourites. If I could only keep one series on display, I'm pretty sure that would be it.
