I hope it's just for his shoulder cannons, as the odd nature of the gears and how they sometimes get out of place (and make cracking noise when you try and articulate them) is my only real problem with the original toy. It looks like maybe they're using more of the chest area for the transformation instead of space for gimmicks this time.Originally Posted by Paulbot
Really? I think compared to the old toy, beast mode certainly has the most improvements, but robot mode looks pretty much perfect to me! The only thing in both modes that i think looks a little odd, are the hind leg's feet - in bent over stance they look too long - but then standing up, they seem intentionally so for balance, so I think it's a good trade off! Maybe the elbow hinges could have been done cleaner too, but apart from that consider me hyped!

Loving the transformation, what with the way the back spins so his ass in beast mode ends up at the back of his robot head, and how his beast mode gut becomes the robot chest!
Now if they'd fix those damn elbow hinges so they stick out less, i'd be really happy!

Agreed. The beast feet look really awful and I still don't like the upper arm covers. It's too much like the original toy.
