    Default WIP Rainmakers

So, progress is trucking along nicely, smoothly, but slowly. Free time is fast evaporating in my life :b
The upside is that I am letting the customs dry a hell of a lot longer, and that's always a good thing.

With these I have been doing a LOT of cutting and shaving to HOPEFULLY get these fully transformable with minimal paint rub and chipping.
With the little plastic 'tabs' (more like little plastic bumps) that hold the wings in the appropriate formations, I've shaved them off, also shaved off other bits with the tailfins that rub easily and take paint off.Really quite surprised how much I've cut away. The fists are still giving me trouble though as there isn't a good way to do so.

Either way, green rainmaker is almost done. A few bits and pieces need to be painted still, touched up and then there's the clear coat protection after that

With yellow rainmaker, I really like how bright and yellow the colours have come up, but there's still several paint layers that still need to be done.

Also included in this lot is STL's bot-who-was-once-known-as-lightspeed I've added a lot more detail to the sucker since, I think - I've touched up some things that are still present even in these pictures. But yeah - the main point was to show STL the new face deco (even that's been touched up since)

    Cool!
    Now the pix:

Ah, it's like I'm in a timewarp and watching an episode of the Fresh Prince of Bel-air, the colours are so bright!

Really like the job on these figures, paint looks so nice and smooth!

My Eyes! My Eyes! Who knew fluoro highlighters would come in useful when it came to finding inspiration for TFs?

Now if only you could swipe one of those metal shelves for home...
