Eh... part of me is kinda tempted to keep both - display Hasbro's in individual robot modes and TakTOM's in combined mode. Although I would obviously offload the Hasbro version if I ever needed the cash.

There is wisdom in what Goktimus says. I'm half tempted to by the Hasbro, keep scrounge, and try to offload the set, but if I can't and I'm stuck with it, I'll go for vehicle or robo modes for the Hasbro.
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

I've got both sets on order as well, I'm thinking I might be mixing/matching parts to make the Computron I like the most.

Problem is finding someone who'll buy the "leftovers" from such a combination. As it is I can't find anyone interested in taking my CW Computron sans Scrounge (so they may very well be relegated to being a spare set to display as individual robots).
Or one could grab a couple of paints in garish colours and randomly splash 'em all over the toys and call it "Generation 2."
