Better to boo a dirty player or cheat than for grown men and women to heckle and threaten junior referees. -edit- not meant to imply that Goodes is a dirty player or cheat, but I'll boo Josh Reynolds or Ennis or the convicted drug cheat captain of NSW! Goodes may milk penalties but never had he done anything to cop what he had the last few weeks from idiots.

I think if every parent and first grade football/ netball / whatever player had to officiate one game per season maybe they'd pull their heads in a bit and stop being such idiots at junior and non professional sport.

Refs at elite levels are a different story if they get paid such high wages as a full time professional and still cannot get anything right...

I have to agree with what a radio announcer on MMM said this evening "it's odd that we defend and have sympathy for a footy player missing games due to being under investigation for domestic violence burnt Adam Goodes is apparently a sook."
