The wobblies were very lucky to beat the 'boks. They did scramble well on their own goal line but the try was scored after a bok mistake on their own 5metre line against the run of play. I feel sorry for Pat McCabe or whoever gets the number 12 jersey playing bodyguard for that useless, over rated spud Quade Cooper. The All Blacks will destroy them.

I meant the All Blacks will destroy Cooper... or whoever is assigned body guard duty ie: inside centre.

Oh yeah thats for sure, Aussie defended their heart out the other night. Their main problem is The ABs will put the heat on cooper for sure.
Its funny over here in NZ especially canterbury, some people have supported Oz ever since Robbie Deans missed out on the coaching role when they left Henry in.

Ha Ha Quade Cooper. How does it feel to be our number one choice fly-half and have the all-blacks 3rd stringer run rings around you? If I was Berrick Barnes I would consider switching back to league if I'm going to be second fiddle to that clown. The way the wobblies are playing they could even finish fourth.

NZ should not have any dramas winning the cup... and well deserved. They have been the benchmark in rugby for years IMO

Agreed 100% the All Blacks cruised to victory in about third gear last night, and I doubt they will have to work any harder to defeat a clueless and dull french outfit. As far as the borefest of this World cup is concerned, there are only two questions to be answered:
- How much will the All Blacks win by?
- How much will Wales defeat the Wallabies by (if they field a decent strength side)?

Bring on the four nations and a rugby code that is made for entertainment, not penalty kicks!

Union Cup Final was a decent game for rugby fanatics who can understand and appreciate the forward and rucking skills shown, as well as the grind, but it was a terrible game for showing off rugby's strength to new and (slowly) growing markets like Russia, US and smaller European nations.
