Today news surfaced that the Rugby League Community lost a member this morning

Jonny Mannah (23 y.o.)

Cronulla and Parramata Player

he lost his battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma

but that isnt his story, his story is one of inspiration and triumph to make it back to the elite level after he was first diagnosed with the cancer in 2009,

Being a sharks Supporter i had opportunity to meet and chat with Jon at his time at the sharks, and he was a great man, a kid really but he had endured so much, and full of life, his triumph was a real inspiration to hear him talk about it, especially for someone like me who had their entire life turned upside down to a significant injury, it puts things in perspective, he was a real role model and the rugby league/sporting community has lost a real champion

So sad His tale was one of inspiration. It saddens me so much when I read this story on fox sports news active then the next story is about Jennings and Cleary bitching about whether Jennings is worth $600,000 a season. Players like that need to step back and look at someone like Jon Mannah.
