There is a Jetwing Optimus Prime coin which came with The DOTM Jetwing Optimus Prime.
MP-08X King Grimlock never came with a coin, that coin belongs to the MP-08 reissue Grimlock.
Also I never knew there was a MP-01L coin.

How was the grimlock coin (not crown and flames, coin) distributed? TRU? With what version of the figure?

Doing further research the King Grimlock coin was available via TRU Singapore online as a standalone item.

But the general consensus is that the coin was also given out freely with purchases of the Hasbro's MP-03 Grimlock during a limited time only in Asia.
The coin itself is pretty expensive fetching on average $60-$100 AUD on ebay.

yeah i did not bother that coin coz it i was thinking it is from the Hasbro MP03 Grimlock version (and i started collecting Takara only by that time) never thought it would be that rare. MP03 was sold at TRU here in Australia for 130aud but in the Philippines it was sold around 150aud with coin for a limited time.

So, is the King Grimlock coin a TRU promo for Hasbro MP-3 Grimlock (I believe I saw it before Hasbro's MP-3 Grimlock was released) or as a purchase for the MP-08X King Grimlock figure?
