Okies so Ive just got my off lay by, finally. Shot with all the early Acqui that I missed taking photos of.... and Nightfall's practicing his new "apprentice" so he can take holidays every now and then.




Oh also got the TF movie DVD for $15 at JB Hi-Fi.

Picked up that G1 collectors guide thats getting around on Ebay at the moment. Its secondhand but easily as good as new (been looked after). And i scored it for $21.50 including postage.

What kind of pricing info does it have? Are there separate estimates for loose, MIB, MISB?

But boy does it show how oversized the Ultras are. I really wish they were Voyagers.

Anakin Skywalker Crossover - I noted also that the new versions of these do not have the mini-figures any more...

...that looks... disappointing. On one hand it looks like they've taken the effort to relocate the Astromech droid to the centre of the fighter, making it more accurate to Anakin's Azure Angel, but on the other hand the colours are completely wrong. This toy sports the colours of Anakin's Eta-2 class Starfighter whereas the Azure Angel sports colours resembling Anakin's childhood Pod Racer. The droid is painted like Artoo-Detoo which is incorrect - the Azure Angel's Astromech droid was Ar-Four Gee-Four The toy is also missing a pair of built-in hyperdrive thrusters which negates the need for the hyperdrive ring that the toy does come with (Anakin modified his Delta-7 so that it can jump into hyperspace without having to use a Hyperspace Ring).



Had this toy been a straight repaint of the Saesee Tiin & Obi-Wan Delta-7 TFs (w/ new head) it could be chalked off as just a lazy repaint... but the relocation of the Astromech droid clearly shows that there was some intent to retool this toy as the Azure Angel... yet that effort is negated by the lack of hyperdrive thrusters so it's not as if you could repaint this toy yourself to make it more accurate. Yeah, I'll pass this one. :/
