TF price guide book?

There are 2 I know of. Both were at Borders in Mt Gravatt very early this year. They were just on the shelves and not a special order so Borders @ Chermside should be able to help, I would think.

Mark Belomo wrote the guide that you probably want - it has at least 2 editions. The one pictured in the first link is the/an old one. The newer one(s) in the second link pictures Prime instead.

Strangely, Dorling-Kindersley (Mark's publisher) also publishes a different (non-price) guide by another author, none other than Simon Furman, that is shorter and from memory a little less informative. There are no prices, but they may become irrelevant quite quickly anyhow

The problem with price guides is that they can quickly become out of date, e.g. the price of Metroplex should be falling now with the release of the Encore reissue. I personally collect ToyFare magazine which updates its guide on a monthly basis. There are other toy/action figure magazines out there which also offer price guides, not just Wizards/ToyFare (owned by Hasbro)

The Identification and Price Guide book is great for it's thoroughness of listings and glossy high quality pics and info but like Gok mentioned, prices change and sometimes rapidly.
It is a beautiful book just for the pictures and info though.

I'm not a fan of that book, but it is the best (and only?) one currently available in regular bookstores.

I would recommend the magazine price guides as they are updated month to month over a book published last May before the movie. But still what the price guides say and what Ebay might sell for differ greatly.

The books are better as guides to toys than as guides to prices.

No. Toyfare and Lee's Toy Review sure don't.

The TF ID and Price Guide is pretty comprehensive. Think it lists all US G1.
