Sorry to hear that other things got in the way for you. Honestly this is the most I've ever spent on an individual Transformer (I only said that recently when I got MP-11S.) I passed on the EVA that Janda the Red was selling a few months ago because I thought it wouldn't pass the wife test but then later that day my wife said I could have gotten it as an anniversary present (DOH!). So this cost me a bit more than he was selling it for.
The way I rationalised it is that I was recently able to do a financial survey that netted me $260 for just 20 minutes of my time. So I looked at that windfall and decided to put it towards getting EVA. The prices for them on ebay keep rising so I thought I might as well get it now while a couple retailers still have it.
