Ergh, I guess that answers that question. The box art says it all. His face looks how I feel about that black / grey.
He neither matches the g1 toy or the anime versions.

TFW user Shiro1 has done a 'toon and toy comparison:
The grey is way too light! But then again, Ramjet's face looked too light in the official pics but in-hand was about right, so hopefully this is the same... hopefully...
No brainer...... It Will be bought.just hope they give it a stand this time???

the torture of others sparks is music to my sensors!!!
Think they could have done better with the box art. But the figure looks nice. Instant preorder. Most likely will pick up through PC but if it sells out quick I've still got an account with TTM as a fallback.
Geez it took me forever to justify the cost of buying Ramjet, now I have to go through the same angst about Thrust.
They need to make these more available and cheaper

Thrust was the second Decepticon jet I got as a child so I am tempted a bit.
They really seem to be going for the flat cartoon colours on MP's these days.
Yeah, it's a pity that they fell short on something so simple as colour choice, because the figure does look awesome!
Hopefully the QC is up to snuff though... and hopefully they darken the plastic by the time the production model is out -- they darkened Hot Rod's windshield so it is possible...
No stand again, according to the TTMall listing, the contents consists of:
Thrust body (1), hologram pilot (1), missiles (2), character card (1), instruction manual (1)
