To be honest i cant be stuffed havinga licence that needs renewal and a lock box and paperwork to go with a transformer toy. I will chalk this one up as a loss and get one locally without the hassles.
Spiderken Away!
this is probably the first case of customs seizing MP36's.
since the first release all the way to the reissue and the end of January/beginning of february, there has been no issues getting it into Sydney.
Sadly, they must have now caught on and items like weijiang megs still unsure if it will even get through now...![]()
Oh dear, and I was waiting on a redeco of this mold in something more appealing, guess that ain't happening :c
I'm sure there would be people in other states willing to sell you a MP Megatron in the future.
I bet TLTC will be out of the game as far as future MP Megatron sales as they are Melbourne based and while it's not as tough as the NSW laws it's still a pain to get the paperwork in Vic.
I might have one for sale but the box is slightly crushed
But yeah at least mine is already in WA and legally brought it.
I know most people want official, but there are lots of third party KO MP Megs. I wonder if they ship in robot mode, and don't have him pictured in gun mode? Just a thought.
I still have my original MP Megatron (the first) and so didn't see the point in buying a second release. But sympathies for those who got siezed.
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!
I just looked up this info on non-firing replica weapons for Qld.
https://www.police.qld.gov.au/progra...s/replicas.htm
Am I understanding this right? "NO weapons license is required"?
I needed one to retrieve megs from customs when he first came out, so does that mean that I could buy him now and not need to fill out any paperwork? He would be a category H for handgun
