Unfortunately I am unsure these are both end product ready yet so they may change things. Like downbeat I was about to buy till I found the headlights were not my liking and the car rear didn't do it for me.

Should mail pc anyway and say aren't they going to price beat collectors drift at 10%?

I don't trust the store enough. I know collectors drift a lot more and very upfront in service. However if you bought from pc it is a choice to leave it so you can claim charge back or dispute with pc and get a long wait.

I'm leaning more towards DX9 now that I look at it more. I was initially a bit iffy at first, but he's growing on me.

I actually understand this, however after playing with ft Phoenix, I am happy to stay with ft.

My commitment to official MP's wavers each time I look at these two marvelous figures. The FT one looks slightly more high end than DX9's but DX9 is obviously sharper priced. Is there any need to pre order these? Hard to imagine the price going up when released given the already high ticket price. Would be good to see reviews before plonking down for my first 3P figure.

Come over and I'll show you Phoenix.

I feel the same way. Especially if it makes the collection a lot more complete.
