Hi guys,

Just finished a custom. This Alpha Trion is a personal favourite. Its a conversion from Vector Prime.

What do you reckon.. should the piece in the chest centre be painted gold to represent the matrix?

Wow dude. That's one impressive custom. Sometimes simplicity can be really rewarding to a custom.

I'd keep the same colours but that's my opinion. Still, excellent custom. How did you mold the head?

I love the beard, it's very regal looking!

And the colours, especially that ochre red you used is fantastic, so rich and velvety looking!

Oh and I'd leave the gold off, he looks pretty perfect to me!

Thanks for all the comments so far... really happy that everyone likes this.

Thanatos - Agree with you. Sometimes customs dont have to over do... I like this one as it was clean and clear on what I had to do.

STL - the head mold comes from Broken Arrows. Liege and I recently ordered some stuff from there and I found this head that was perfect. It is based on the botcon one they did I presume.

Pulse - I am leaning on the gold but I might leave it for a few weeks and enjoy this as is first. and then come back to it to do the gold later. I will go with I_amTrunks lead as the purple does go well with the rest of the figure without introducing a new colour scheme. I think I will do that if I revisit this custom and actually put a chest plate in the future if I come across the right parts.

i_amtrunks and DirtyDigger - going with your suggestion trunks Regarding the beard, glad it was the right decision on the 2 tone. I have seen alot of custom that its the same colour. I thought the highlight is better too.

I still have the little guy to paint and thinking of how to make him a gun for this. Will update that when its finished also.
