Default YOTR Platinum Edition Hybrid Style G1 Optimus Prime

News from TFW member Type-R about the Year of the Rooster Platinum edition from Hasbro. It's a reissue of The Hybrid Style G1 Optimus Prime. Pics in the TFW link below. Will try to load a few up once my photobucket stops having a fit...

Already have this one but it's a great little fig for those who are keen. Alt mode is pretty terrible but great little bot with tons of accessories.

I'd be interested as I was waiting for my Rooster year to come up. Probably keep it MISB.

Can't see much to distinguish it from being a special YOTR edition though...

Pretty much just the box. Shame the Autobot logo is just standard. Would have been better to have this Roosterised

I'm not sure having a c0ck logo would be appropriate or to everyone's taste. The previous year's logos were hideous imo.

In all seriousness, I'm a little disappointed with the use of this small-scaled mould. Optimus Prime YotD, YotS, YotH, YotG were of decent size.

More in-hands, and interestingly it says:

Only available in 2016 Taipei Movie&Toys Convention. Limited quantities.

YOTM was also a chunky Munky.

I would have to disagree regarding the following on of a similar size. The Hybrid Style series was more limited in release so great for collectors here though it's yet to be seen if the price of this set exceeds the after market price of the originals when it gets to Aus.

Another $300 Myer special destined for the clearance bin. Yes, I know it's limited, but come on, surely I'm not the only one thinking that
nice figure though. I wouldn't mind one.
