Now before Verno goes and high fives a cloud, I think that until further more reliable sources come along that we should treat this as a rumour for now. But according to this article:
* Hasbro is collaborating with Netflix to create a new CG animated series of Beast Wars
* Marvel writer Jason Aaron is writing the script for this series
* Slated for late 2018 release
Not much else is known. The writer reckons that the story will stay in continuity with the original BW/BM series, but I personally doubt it and suspect that it'll be a reboot... because every bloody new Transformers thing is a reboot these days. But I'd be stoked if it were in continuity.

Still, just taking this as a rumour with a huge bag of salt for now.
