Classics/Henkei for me as well
I would say Masterpiece if they released things in a timelier fashion... So much could be done for Galvatron, Hot Rod, and a true Ultra Magnus (though City Commander comes close!).
Yeah same here, I chose Classics.
If the choice was wider I would have also chosen Masterpiece but like the current Alts/BTs and Alternity releases; they are more akin to side lines with a new figure released once every few months or even up to once a year or so rather than a full yearly line of releases.
I vote Animated. I'm enjoying the reimagining of G1 concepts in the Animated toys and cartoon. The Classic homages are nice but when they don't quite get it right (Powerglide, Tankor, etc) I feel a bit cheated and would have prefered to get a new Animated toy based on an old character (eg Jazz, Swoop etc) but not the old character. The Encore toys are great for nostalgia but reissued 25 year old toys are still old toys.
Animated all the way (although I do think you're taking Hasbro way too seriously.)
"...we try to not have the same characters out in both lines if the toy would be similar."
Riiight...
