Images of Toy-line have been shown, showing that he is a new head retool of scraphook, with a colour scheme similar to his appearance in RID 2001. Wish he was retooled a bit more to get rid of any mad mex elements, but oh well at least we're getting toys from characters outside G1

I'll update this when I'm needing help finding particular figures

We're getting into a position where I suspect we're going to see a bunch of Machine Wars homages in the next few years, probably in whatever subline replaces Velocitron.

Towline can be repainted into either Hubcap or Hoist.

Leader TFPrime Skyquake can be done as MW Starscream or even MW Megatron in a weird roundabout way. Leader TFPrime Skyquake is a pretool of G1 Skyquake, which is the mold used for MW Starscream. The 2013 Botcon Machine Wars set also used Animated Voyager Skyquake for MW Megatron.

Decent. I prefer Guzman and Gomez on balance.

Yeah, I agree. Even just making the windscreen and bonnet less radical would work for me. Still cool we got it at all though.

I immediately thought ^^^^ was a Scooby Doo Mystery Machine mashup for a second there.

There are more toys being released outside of G1 than there are G1.

Transformers: The Movie retro #5 will be Perceptor and #7 will be Shrapnel. No news about #6, which I guess will be Skywarp.

Some new Walmart exclusives have been given their first look, which feature figures based off unreleased G2 decos!

Update: listings also reveal the rest of the deluxes.

According to one Instagram post, TV writer Michael Reaves has passed away.

I haven't been able to find any other sources, and tfwiki, Wikipedia and IMDB all still list him as being alive, so I'm treating this as a rumour for now.

Michael Reaves wrote the G1 episode, "The Big Broadcast of 2006," which was adapted into an issue of the G1 comics by Simon Furman. Reaves also wrote three episodes of Beast Machines; Season 1's "Mercenary Pursuits," and Season 2's "Sparkwar Part I: The Search," and "Endgame Part 1: The Downward Spiral."

Seem's we've got a new Nacelle on the way. Some sort of exclusive, most likely Amazon and/or Pulse.
