Yes, that blurry photo does show the orange barrel plugged straight into the body of the cannon... which makes it look a little better at the front end, but the side view makes the back end look bad.

The lower body proportions look stumpy. I want to think it's just the photos or the result of mis-transformation, but maybe the designers want to make Galvatron's lower half be similarly proportioned to Cyclonus'.

Yeah no. These pictures at the start of the TFW2005 thread (including the original partial pics) are definitely not taken with a fish-eye lens.
