What a legend. Thank you Wally. Rest in peace.
"I am not a gun. I'm hitting people with a hammer. On Mars."
The Iron Giant / David Wildgoose
From all accounts I've heard, he was a big part of the reason the original show had so much character/heart. Among other series of the time.
It's sad news but on the other hand, what an inning, 93.
A true legend! RIP![]()
Goodbye Wally. Thanks for what you contributed.![]()
Which brings us to where we are today...
I think if it wasn't for the passion and dedication that Wally Burr and Bob Budiansky put into setting up Transformers before it was released to the masses, Transformers would have probably turned out more like Gobots/Machine Men, and lasted just as long.
You just have to listen to some of those recording sessions that have been released recently, to hear his involvement, to get the best from the Voice Actors, so that it wasn't just another paycheck reading of a random script. (something that all of the Voice Actors at BotCon have repeatedly said about Burr)
Very sad newsRest in peace
Thanks for all the memories Mr Burrtil all are one.
