If I really wanted to scratch that Targetmaster itch I'm sure a KO of the gun will pop up somewhere.
I broke my MP-28 while performing surgery out it because out of the box it was a floppy mess that couldn't hold a pose.
If this one isn't a floppy mess and is in toy colours I think I like the figure enough to give it another go.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.

I am considering getting him after I see some pictures
What else could they do to differentiate?
- different deco
- different head
- modification of the "engine" on the front in alt mode to accommodate the TM
TT should just do the same thing as they are doing with the Legends line of headmasters for any MP's that should/could have Targetmasters, include Targetmasters for previous releases with new characters.
I for one cant be paying for MP's twice, no matter how much I would like that new hat...
I am skeptical that this is just another mp-28 + target master.
It feels weird they would change the numbering to MP-40 just because of an added target master. I will not be ordering anything at all till I see pictures.
I do feel disappointed that pieces like Trailbreaker or Hoist are still not out at this stage.
Its frustrating as we seem to be clinging on improvements over a same character than moving on to whats outstanding. For the record, I enjoyed MP-28 and my only complaint mainly was he was not rolling on the ground.
If this rumour is true, then chances are that they may have hit a snag with the production of Dinobot. Honestly, with how impressed I was with MP Nightstick, I'd happily fork out dough for a MP Firebolt with a MP Hot Rod Accessory (but them you are talking to someone who views MP-13 as Laserbeak and MP Soundwave as the accessory, so make of that what you will).
