Wasp is a character in Animated that turns into a car.
Waspinator is an Animated toy that turns into a wasp.

It's very likely that Wasp will be reformatted into Waspinator in the next series of Animated and that they are supposed to be the same character.

That Leo Prime looks bad - but that's mainly because the mould is eight flavours of cr4p. It's a better repaint than Nemesis Breaker (and a better name) - although that's not saying much, on either count.

I like the look of Wreck-Gar, purely because the alt mode is original. I will likely grab him (along with Swindle) to beef up my (non Activator) Animated count up to 4!

I quite liked Leobreaker and Nemesis Breaker as names. They sounded like the name of a Japanese Zoid, like the Geno Breaker.

I've never understood why Takara named the same character "Jackshot" and "Ligerjack". That doesn't even sound cool.

Well, considering I hate the concept behind the series, the fact that I've bought some shows that I'm still keeping an open mind about it. I do think the Leader Megatron is probably the best _big_ Megatron in a mainline since Beast Wars, even if the end result doesn't grab me.

I've got no issues with Leobreaker. But for me, Nemesis Breaker just sounds very, very forced. It's like the guy conceiving the repaint just wrote anything down before going home for the weekend. But hey, if you like it, good luck to you

Maybe not in English... I can't comment on how they sound in Japanese, so the jury is out in that regard.

FWIW, I feel both sound better in English than Nemesis Breaker, even if I don't love or hate Takara's efforts.

Ligerjack sounds as much like a Zoid as does LeoBreaker. if anything (Insert name here) Liger's are even more common than Geno (insert name here).

maybe the Waspinator head will suit a deluxe BB then with a paint job and a head swap budda boom Wasp although if they actually released him propally that would be even better

Smokescreen looks sweeeet but i think Henkei will be the go for him

Who does he represent anyway?

Also, I'm drooling over the new figures. I hope Wasp becomes Waspinator in season 3 of Animated. Maybe in a similar fate to BA. Still not sure about the beast wars figures...
