    dammit.

When I was in at work this morning, the missile launcher peg for dirge's left missile launcher... snapped >_>

    SO!

As I mentioned to some of the board members, a mate of mine just got a dremel stylus set as well! SO that means I can charge my dremel. I had just enough juice left from the months of disuse to start dremelling away at the peg that was stuck in the winghole (Yes. It snapped just as I was putting the final touches in on plane mode before starting to take photos). Well anyhow, I've finally managed to remove the stuck piece from the peg hole and have instead fashioned a makeshift balljoint-peg for dirge.

THAT is drying right now (glue) - also, while fiddling with that, my meaty fingers squashed some of the near-dry paint on the wings so that's been given a fresh coat as well.

Really now, I'll realistically only have pics of alt mode for you guys tomorrow morning

Sorry about it falling through and thanks for the kind words thus far

Also, while waiting for that to dry, I've painted what I hope to be the final coats of paint on the rainmakers.
Damn, I've already gone through two pots of yellow and am on my third, compared to 1 pot of green! WTH. Kind of goes to show how hard it is to get the colour bright and not lose the detail of the sculpt too :\

Oh well- will wait for it to dry overnight, then post pics soon

    Cheers dudes

Phew. Here we go with the Alt Mode shots.

I had to scrap the bloody ball joint because it came off the glue and the joint got stuck into the hole... AGAIN with the drilling... Now it's just a short peg that just fits - but I'm happy with it! So, without further ado, Alt mode pics!

I love that Chrome on the tail fins. That looks amazing. Dirge looks pretty pathetic now compared to that
