I figured I'd put my question here instead of starting another thread, could anyone recommend a Realm for me to start on WoW. I finally bit the bullet and bought the first WoW to give it a go, I'm not a big fan of online gaming mainly because of some of the idiots you have to put up with. I'm not interested in PvP realms either. Any help would be appreciated.

All I've managed to do so far is download things, not much excitement there
. Don't worry blackie you just need self control which means being a TF collector I have absolutely none

Depends what type of gamer you are.
- Are you Player vs Player sort of guy or a Player vs Environment?
- Are you into Role Playing?
I have not played WoW in over two years and have huge issues with its form of Gameplay and reinterpretation of the Traditional Warcraft lore but I have been sent a 10 day trial that includes the expansions. I am tempted to use it since I have never seen the expansion areas.

Here are the Australian PvE servers:
Normal
-----------
Caelestrasz
Khaz'goroth
Nagrand
Aman'thul
Dath'remar
Always best to use Australian assigned servers. They are still based in the US but at least the timezone is Sydney based. Before Australian assigned servers I played in an American one and it was a pain. When I played everyone was asleep so finding groups or guild mates online was a frustrating.
If memory serves me right, I have a character in Khaz'goroth.

On the subject of WoW, I had to drive my younger sister to the shopping center last night so she could attend the EB midnight release party for the latest WoW expansion. The amount of freaky people similar to those I used to see from my past life was incredible. The different social groups and ages I saw leaving and entering the place was very diverse. It just goes to show you the influence of MMO's on society.
