Hate's too strong a word. As far as the toy is concerned I do dislike it. The show character... meh. I don't really like or dislike - kinda just neutral. I find there's nothing terribly cringe-worthy nor noteworthy about the character... pretty plain and boring really.
So as far as the poll options go...
Toy = hate
Character = I like Gobot Barbie
I'm on the fence. The colours are nice but the transformation is a bit familar. The weapon gimmick is nice but when it's in hand the arms don't support it.
And is the big red circle in the middle of his face his Shockwave-like eye or is it his nose and those two smaller circles on each side of his face the eyes?
It's like the portrait of the old woman/young woman optical illusion. I keep seeing it both ways.

I voted hated it but i dont hate him or love him i was just really dissapointed with him. Some of it is the QC paint issues with him but im gonna try and colour match the paint myself to rectify that.
Other than that he's just too small compared to everyone else (just like voyager Bulkhead) i was exepcting a little bit more possibilty out of him as well and transformation was a bit simple/easy, maybe i got my expectations a bit high but he just doesnt press my buttons so to speak.
I love him. He looks good, and he is an interesting design. Very playable.
Only things I didn't like were his hands and his bulkhead syndrome

The Animated Lugnut toy is a work of art. To explain Lugnut to people who only like other Transformers toys is like explaining a three dimensional object to someone who lives in a two-dimensional universe. He is a toybox homosapien amongst neanderthals. He combines fragile beauty with weight and smooth substance, together in perfect yin and yang. Lugnut's autotransformations and mace are pure love melted into a plastic mold and solidified. Like the cyan, magenta, yellow and black of the printing process, Lugnut is perfect four-colour harmony. The fact that Lugnut cannot turn his head is a necessary single flaw, as in an Islamic rug, because only Primus is perfect (but Lugnut is the next best thing).
I love Lugnut.
Me too. Great transformation. His scale is the only misgiving. My only slight fault in the figure are the toes showing on the under carriage. But apart from that he easily makes my top 3 Decepticons.
And I almost chose the last choice too!
