    How do i get rid of old threads? Can i delete them somehow?

    We don't usually delete or lock old threads, because if they are no longer being used or needed, they just get shuffled down off their section page as newer active topics are added to (and eventually disappear).
    If there is something that was posted that needs to be deleted, that can be done by the poster, but removing whole topics needs to be for something serious (contact one of the staff), as it removes everyone else's posts, and erases that record of events.

    i just wanted to clear out my old ones. I guess i can let them disappear. thats fine.

    Not talking about closingor deleting threads, but there are several threads which are 'sticky'ed that I reckon can be unstuck and let slip into obscurity as no one has posted in them in years. In many cases they either revolved around topics that are no longer relevant, or were set up so that people could continue heated discussions without further derailing other threads.

    Some examples:

    Comic Cartoon Toy Rants, Expect Very Personal Opinions

    Pro's & Cons of Michael Bay

    Anyway, just a suggestion
