I asked a question and told you how Amazon has always charged me. Honestly, my patience with you is wearing thin. When you, a junior member of the forum, say something that is not entirely correct senior members including myself have informed you of more details. You often reply with something to the effect of you knew that already, yet your original comment doesn't infer that you knew it. We are trying to inform and be friendly to newer members like yourself. Biting peoples hands off because they take time out of their day to help a junior member out or ask a question is not the way to win people over.

I don't particularly care to have my lived experience questioned.

I stated a simple fact - that Amazon charged one amount, then refunded part of it. I have a credit card statement, several e-mails, and an invoice and adjustment note combination to go with it.

Yes, I know it did, but I still don't see why, if they have a record of the lower price, they don't just charge that instead of faffing around with a refund. It isn't just the transactions; they have to adjust the tax invoice too.

I've had it happen both ways. Most of the time, the price is adjusted before dispatch. There are times however when it will drop to a lower price between the time of order and the time it was dispatched (whether by algorithm or by a discount sale)

From the Preorder Price Guarantee Page:

The order summary in Your Account will be updated to reflect the lowest applicable price within 48 hours of any price change up until the time that it is released.
...

• Where a physical item has a stated release date, if your order enters the dispatch process before that date and the price of the item drops below the price that you were charged between the date of dispatch and the end of the day of the release date, we'll automatically refund to your nominated payment method the difference between the price that you were charged and the lower price.

It is semi annoying that Amazon US stuff listed on Amazon AU won't ship to New Zealand; I either have to wait for Amazon AU to get it in or order via Amazon USA and pay more.

They finally charged me for the Kingdom Galvatron I ordered on Monday; it was going to arrive by today in New Zealand but seeing as it hasn't shipped yet, I doubt that will happen. Be interesting to see how quickly it does take to get here, due to the limited passenger planes flying between AU and NZ due to lockdowns on both sides.

In my experience once they ship it then it arrives really quickly! But man can it take a long time to actually ship. All my pre-orders haven't moved an inch (SS86 stuff that others have had ship) and even some stuff I ordered that was IN STOCK is still sitting there after a long time. Weird.

Wreck-Gar further delayed from purchase back in May, yet money was just taken from Rhinox and BW Scorponok purchased 4 + 24/8....

So BW scorp and Rhinox have just moved to being shipped status so both on their way..

Would be nice if trax and wreck-gar which I purchased back in May start showing signs of life

My Wreck-Gar is on the way for me. I'm a bit annoyed though at Slag. Amazon charged me for him, but now the charge has been dropped and Slag hasn't shipped.

I just checked my credit card to see if maaaaaaybe Wreck-Gar had been charged overnight. No such luck, but there is a new charge for Amazon that exactly matches the Mirage and Grimlock two-pack! Yay
