I heard that the factories in Vietnam had to shut down quite frequently during the pandemic, which might explain things getting delayed or not running according to what would have been their pre-pandemic schedule. The Japanese release of MPM-12 that I preordered with HLJ was delayed from October to next March

Either Australia or somewhere in Asia will have them on shelves months early without any announcement.
