Picked up the Universe Combaticons from Myer tonight for $56, but got pipped to the post on the Aerialbots by another quiet member of the board. Oh well, I can wait until they come out again in the new packaging or Myer has another 20% off toys sale.

Finally got universe ironhide and sideswipe from the misses. She spent $30 a piece at tru chadstone (If anyone is interested there's 3 acid storms + 2 silverstreaks left as of Tue night 25th). Bless her ignorance

Universe Bruticus and Superion from Myer at $56 each, after griffin made me itch for them when he showed me his!
Also nabbed 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime for $70 using 20% off and a $10 voucher at Myer.
She who must be obeyed has whisked them all off and I'm told they will be waiting under a gaudy plastic tree in a month's time, so no pic!

- Classics 2.0 Stormcloud: great repaint of an average mold that really only works for Powerglide. A lot of effort there and I love the colours.
- Classics 2.0 Bruticus x 2: Wasn't convinced by him but playing with Jaydisc's version of him, in certain configurations he looks very awesome. The disappointment is that the colours aren't as vibrant as they are on the packaging.
- Classics 2.0 Superion: Aside from Silverbolt, Air Razor and Air Raid, pretty meh. The weakest limb was Skydive. That purple is just plain fugly. I have no idea how they could come up with it. It destroys the overall piece. I originally intended to buy doubles of all Classics 2.0 toys, one to open, one for display but finally surrendered. It just doesn't work.

And thanks to the missus to for helping me buy the 3rd Bruticus. I ran out of dough. a common thing of late . Looking forward to opening him right after this.

Anyway thanks to the Myer special one-day sale last night, I picked up 25th Anniversary Prime, $79.96 and Bruticus $55.96 after 20% discount. I had sms all those I knew in Melbourne about the sighting too.

And a BIG THANK YOU to Pulse for TRU Comic 2-Packs! At $30 each + postage, they are still cheaper than getting OR having to go on the massive hunt for them here in VIC. Oh not to forget the nice Lego Castle sets he gave me too. BIG HUGS
