    Default Beast Wars Sightings

Disclaimer: I'm a total Beast Wars noob (animal robots wtf??) so bear with me.

A seller some of us know had/has Megatron and Optimus Takara Beast Wars figures.
Megs being the T-rex about voyager size and Optimus being the gorilla at the same size. Think they are reissues from the pristine state of the boxes but it's all Japanese to me. He said 150 (but would take 140) for the pair.

Just thought I'd let you (yes, you) know.

Are they Transmetals (Metalic beasts similar to G1 Beast modes) or realistic?

Realistic. Don't remember seeing any metallic on them. Purple Megs and dark (black?) Optimus.

    Nice rectangular display boxes.

Possibly the Beast Wars Reborn versions

STL picked these up last year (I think) and they look very nice.

I was only able to find what appears to be the back of the box:

This is the 10th Anniversary release (essentially the same figures in a Hasbro box)

I have the 10th Anniversary release of those figures. They are freaking awesome and these Ultras are fine examples that a toy loaded with gimmicks does not need to have its engineering and complexity compromised.
