Ok I worked out why this guy is so expensive. Takara has fitted out Bee with a colour change feature. See the Amazon Japan listing photos, two show Bee as yellow and the rest are orange. This is incredible!

It definitely looks like a brighter yellow in-hand than in the official box pictures. Much better than MP Bumblebee 1.0.

Still not convinced on shelling out...maybe when it goes down on special or something.

The color is preferably what I wanted. Likewise I wait for a sale as is expensive for a small bot
