WFC Springer, Thundercracker & Red Alert.

Springer is the part 2 to the Jetfire debacle. I already have one I love, but this one is so gloriously cartoon accurate, it would absolutely kill it with my Legends deluxes.

Maybe I should just put all these replaced figures on a separate IDW shelf. Magnus is starting to look good too.

I’m a sucker for red alert toys, and that’s a nice retool.

Springer is glorious but not quite as excellent as generations springer, so I won’t pick him up unless he goes on sale later (if he ever gets released here).

Thundercracker is a nice robot and possibly the first battle damaged figure where the damage looks alright and appropriately placed, without going over the top. Would still prefer no damage though.

So is Springer going to have his Cybertronian Armoured Car mode as well? One would assume so but I haven’t seen any pics yet and even the toy listing at BBTS just shows his helicopter mode.

Yeah it's weird they haven't shown a render of it yet, but here are pics of it at the Hasbro toy fair.

The Springer is so good, it makes me want to fork out for an original G1 and start collecting Springers of all makes and sizes.

I just hope the weathering on his chest looks more silver in person, that photo makes him look dirty/grubby. I have a T30 springer, this one is certainly more G1 cartoon accurate, so wouldn't mind owning him too.
