Because the foldback monitors were the same colour as the stage I repainted them in a dark grey just for contrast. I also added a strip of wood to each wall at the front on the outside. I wanted it to look like the scaffolding holding up the lighting rig. It also helped to hide the wires running up the outside.

I also finished gluing the crystals on to the logo.

I made the microphone stands out of the wire used to hold down weed mats. It is slightly thinner than a coat hanger. To make the microphones I took a long sewing pin with the round plastic head and cut it down. I jammed it in to some wire off cut and glued it. I then put glue on the stand and wrapped the wire from within a bread tie that I stripped the plastic off around it to lash it in place. Once it dried I made the body and holder of the mike out of air dry clay. When that dried I painted them.

I also mounted the microphone for the lights at the top of the wall so it had the best chance of picking up the noise. I then screwed and glued the amps in.

I ended up running the microphone wire up the amps off to the side. I glued the logo in and drilled a whole for the microphone wire to go in to and glued them in.

Then when I looked at it the area at the top of the amps looked weird because it was the same colour as the amps and didn't look right. So I spent an hour and a half on Friday night making curtains to go there.

This first one is the first option for the lights where it just rotates through.

These two are where it reacts to the music.

    Outstanding!!
I love the pegs you have in the floor to position the figures in different positions and poses.
I also love the rest of it.

the drum kit is especially nice

Thanks mate. It took many hours and quite a few good TV series to make but my son cried when he saw it so it was worth it. (I did ask him "Is it that bad" just to make sure he liked it)

I forgot to put a link to this picture. This is one of the pics where I got the stage design from.
