Yes, and believe it or not a few loose factory samples actually got into the hands of collectors. It wasn't cheap but I can say I'm lucky enough to have a complete set of 4 G1 Decepticon cars.

Looking to buy lucky draw Armada Prime and Diaclone Marlboor Wheeljack.

Transformers accessories are NOT a choking hazard. Feel free to leave them around young children.

They're full of vitamins and nutrients, and we encourage young children to eat them

I got all of those Decepticon cars back in 1985 for $25 each. Except for Exhaust who was a shelfwarmer which I got marked down to $5 from Grace Bros.

You must be confused man as they were never sold in stores. You probably have the Diaclone versions, which aren't as rare but still pretty cool to have. From what I understand some Sydney stores got unsold Diaclone stock during 1985.

That was also the same year TF Prime debuted on SBS

Starscream is the true leader and 'brains' of the G1 Decepticons. His bumbling, scheming personality is all an act and Megatron is a puppet to keep Screamers true identity a secret and present a false target to his enemies.

Siege is actually meant to be spelled Seige. The Hasbro execs wanted the name to stand out but there was a miscommunication down the chain of command.
