The trailer looks ok but the lack of paint is disturbing and is apparently coming with the gun that came with ss32 .

But i am still getting it.

Always someway to cut cost, if this comes to a store with a sale going like big w's (which it'll miss the current) or myer's maybe it'll be worth it

I just hate the fact its just a voyager with a big accessory with it

I didn't bother with SS05 Optimus because I already had the RotF mould and the Movie Masterpiece, plus I didn't like the look of it, but I've been curious about SS32 largely for its ability to combine with Jetfire, as well as having a better-looking chest.

The circular armoury and the screen-accurate Jetwing pack make this one look tempting.

So it looks like a minor remould of the SS-32, which was itself a minor remould of SS-05. I wonder why they didn't just have the one mould from the outset, and modify the trailer or Jetfire to work with the one mould. I'm not complaining... as it really annoys me when they do a lazy redeco of something that should be remoulded, or release several redecos of the one mould in a short space of time (cough cough Bumblebee).

Wow, that trailer looks terrible. This has gone from a possible "buy if cheap" to a "don't even bother".

While it may have been simpler to do it that way, the movies were constantly tweaking the models for the cast such that the one mould would have been seen as lazy as you said.

Although - yes the remoulded combination feature strikes me as odd. Almost as if it was an afterthought after the initial waves did well.
