    Default Simpsons halloween xix

Anyone else see it yet? I got it on monday, watched it last night. The transforming intro was good. And the bit with homer in the kitchen.

    Yeah and it sucked.

Overall all the stories there were bad. It seems that Simpsons has lost its touch.

Loved the faux Optimus Prime and Megatron fisticuff fight, that was neat. Nice nod to Transformers but other then that it was pretty average.

Loved the opening title for "How to Get Ahead in Dead-Vertising" but other then that it was probably the weakest of the three, relying too much more shock gore which is what I'm finding the Treehouse of Horrors are doing more and more often now.

My favourite of the three tales would be the last one "It's the Grand Pumpkin, Milhouse".

Better then last years Treehouse of Horrors but a pretty forgetful episode in the end.

Was posted here the other day..

I didn't mind it, but The Simpsons has been going steadily down hill for the last few years now.. Its best years are long past

I thought the transformers parody was ok. Homer definitely makes the show for me as the parts featuring him were the funniest. I laughed at the bit in kitchen and when Homers car transforms and he starts screaming in pain. The fusball bit was cute too.
