Default Cybertronic Spree - Transformers 1986 Album

For anyone that doesn't know Cybertronic Spree, a band who dresses up as G1 Transformer characters, are doing a cover album of songs from the 1986 Transformers animated movie.

It’s called Transformers: The Movie: The Cover Album

Anyway, they are doing it on kickstarter. They did one round where you could donate to receive different sized kits such as digital downloads, CD's, iron on patches etc. That sold out fast! So they did a second round, that sold out pretty quick too.

So now they are doing a 3rd round. So for anyone looking to get a CD/Digital Download/Whatever pack of licenced covers of music from the 1986 Movie, check out Kickstarter here.

Wow, that's like looking at a kickstarter from 8 years ago.

They really don't get how to maximise their profits from the platform.

Oh I don't know, their original goal was about $16,000ca and they are up to $111,000ca so far, so they are doing pretty well

I dunno much about Kickstarter to be honest, its the first time I've contributed to one so I don't know what the different formats look like. Sounds like they could have made even more!

Oh and if anyone wants to see a couple of their film clips and why people are so on board with this, I'll pop some links below. Arcee has got an amazing voice! Hot Rod can sing pretty well too.
