Yeah, I am looking forward to it. I'm surprised it hasn't been discussed here as much.

My guess is that most of us here may not be that interested in what is essentially an "Action Master-piece."

I mean no disrespect. It does look like an absolutely gorgeous figure and, unlike G1 Action Masters, this is a third party toy that's not going to dominate the main Hasbro like - so I have nothing against it. It's just not my cuppa tea, and I suspect that this may be why there's been little discussion about this up till now.

But hey, it looks great and I think it's really good to see officially licensed third party stuff coming into the fray. I'm happy for you guys who want this toy and I look forward to seeing reviews and in-hand photos when you get it (and hey, if anyone wants to bring one to a fan meet I'll be glad to have a fiddle ). I personally prefer Transformers who can transform, but obviously there are compromises that must be made to accommodate the transforming gimmick, whereas non-transforming action figures are free to just look great in robot mode since they don't have to house a transformation. And I do love how this has blue fists. While I really love Studio Series 38 Optimus Prime, the screen inaccurate black fists are a wee bit unfortunate.

I love it, but $200 USD for a Transformer that doesn't transform is too much for me to justify.

If transformation is a must then you could always get the other version which looks just as good and cheaper

I was contemplating the Bumblebee movie statue, as it looks amazing and I really don?t like the MPM version. But ultimately I?d rather save the money and hope a better MPM comes out in future.
